Unusual and very rare, this Patek Philippe Ref. 96 in stainless steel is the first Calatrava model ever produced by the maison, representing one of the purest expressions of timeless watch design. Featuring a refined circular case of modest proportions with snap-on back, crown, and flat bezel, this example remains in very good condition. Its exceptional argenté (silvered) dial is adorned with steel Breguet-style Arabic numerals, radium dot hour markers, and pencil-shaped steel hands with radium filling, creating a perfect balance of elegance and functionality. A historically significant and highly collectible Patek Philippe, regarded as a cornerstone of vintage Calatrava heritage.
