The Rolex Ref. 4500 is an unusual and very rare chronograph from the 1940s, combining a stainless steel and 18k rose gold construction in one of the brand’s earliest two-counter chronograph designs. Featuring a water-resistant Oyster case with screw-down back and crown, rounded chronograph pushers and its original Rolex Oyster bracelet, this reference represents an important milestone in Rolex chronograph history. The dial has developed a beautiful, even patina over time and is complemented by rose gold indexes and matching hands, enhancing its vintage character.
